Why PileIQ
Everything a screw pile contractor needs to track installs, generate reports, and run the operation — from any phone or tablet.
Big buttons, dirty gloves, one pile at a time. Depth, torque, extensions — entered fast on any phone.
Every pile verified and formatted. PDF ready to send to the engineer or customer. No Excel, no formatting.
Pay estimates, crew rankings, season progress. Everything your operation needs, in one place.
We run 2 rigs in Manitoba. Before PileIQ we were tracking piles on paper and texting photos of handwritten logs to the office. Now every pile is logged on the phone, the load report generates in one tap, and my crew gets their pay estimate automatically every Friday. Took about 10 minutes to set up. I wish I’d had this years ago.

FAQ
PileIQ was designed for construction workers, not software users. Logging a pile is 3 taps — open the job, tap the pile, enter torque and depth. No usernames, no passwords. Your crew logs in with a 4-digit PIN on any phone. Most installers are logging piles on their own within 10 minutes of first use. The app also works offline — no signal on site is not a problem.
PileIQ works fully offline. Piles are saved locally on the phone and sync automatically when signal returns. The offline indicator appears at the top of the screen so your crew always knows their data is safe. We specifically built this for rural Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta sites where signal is unreliable.
PileIQ and Jobber work together, not instead of each other. Jobber manages your customers, quotes, and invoices. PileIQ adds the pile-specific layer Jobber can’t — torque logging, pile load reports, crew pay per pile, IQ scheduling. When you verify a job in PileIQ it automatically updates Jobber, uploads the PDF, and posts an activity note. You’re not paying double — you’re adding a pile-specific tool that makes Jobber work better for your trade.
Every contractor’s data is completely isolated. Physically impossible for another account to access your jobs, crew, or torque readings — it’s enforced at the database level, not just the interface. Your data belongs to you. You can export everything at any time, and you can request deletion at any time. PileIQ is PIPEDA compliant (Canadian privacy law).
Most contractors are running their first job within 20 minutes of signing up. Sign up, enter your company name, add your crew (name + 4-digit PIN), create a job (just needs a name to start), assign your installer. That’s it. Earl — the built-in onboarding coach — walks you through each step at your own pace. No implementation consultant, no onboarding call required.
Yes — we built specifically for Western Canada. The address field accepts legal land descriptions (NE-14-52-24-W3), Alberta range road addresses, hamlet names, and GPS coordinates. Type any of these and the app geocodes it automatically using the Government of Canada’s own location database. If you paste GPS coordinates directly, it reverse-geocodes to the nearest named location.
The pile load report is a professional PDF that documents every pile installed — depth, torque, blade size, pass/fail vs target, extensions, GPS location, installer name, and date. Engineers and GCs require this for structural verification. With PileIQ it generates in one tap when you verify a job. You can email it to the customer directly, upload it to Jobber or JobNimbus automatically, or request a remote signature from the engineer — all without leaving the app.
Yes — 21 days free, no credit card required. Every feature unlocked. Run real jobs, generate real reports, add your whole crew. If it doesn’t work for you, walk away with nothing lost. If it does — and we think it will — you’re on a plan that costs less than one pile per month.
Our Story
PileIQ started because nothing else existed. We’re a screw pile contractor in Austin, Manitoba. After years of tracking installs on paper, texting photos of handwritten logs, and manually calculating crew pay in spreadsheets — we built the tool we wished existed.
Every feature in PileIQ came from a real problem on a real job site. The offline mode because rural Saskatchewan has no signal. The legal land description support because that’s how addresses work on the Prairies. The road ban warnings because a loaded truck on a restricted road is a fine you don’t want.
We run this software on our own rigs every day. When something doesn’t work, we feel it too.
